Tumblr (3.0; @yellowninjamuffin)http://yellowninjamuffin.tumblr.com/<p><a class="tumblr_blog" href="http://harbor-boulevard.tumblr.com/post/26255738577/true-blood-challenge">harbor-boulevard</a>:</p> <blockquote> <div class="post_title"><strong>Day 4: Favorite Quote</strong></div> <div class="post_title"><strong><br/></strong><img src="http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m6gs6wNYWb1qcw1pq.gif"/></div> </blockquote>http://yellowninjamuffin.tumblr.com/post/27112978119http://yellowninjamuffin.tumblr.com/post/27112978119Fri, 13 Jul 2012 03:53:25 -0400<p><p class="MsoNormal"><span>Hair.Yes,hair.I wonder when it was first that I…thought about hair.I was very young when I started experimenting with my own,hair.When I was 7 years old,someone from my family(and I believe that was my aunt)decided that my long wavy blond hair should be cut as I was a small child and the hair was too long.And it was too long.But today I would have preferred it that way.I may have been 9 when I allowed my sister to cut my hair.I remember that being a success.The straight shoulder length hair went really well with my glasses.When it finally grew I was 11 and I got really bored with it so you can imagine my infatuation with Shakiras long golden curles.I decided to get a perm.My perm lasted for exactly 2 hours.After that my hair looked greenish and a bit frizzy.I think I was 12 when,one late night,I decided I wanted to have hair like Raven,from the Teen Titans anime cartoon.It was a purple shade,a strange one indeed and a neck length bob without bangs.So I grabbed a pair of my grandmas scissors and I cut it the best I could.Well,my “best” looked like someone took a chain saw and played with my hair.My whole class laughed at me and went to the hairdresser first thing after school the very next day.I had to go to my prom with a bob,the one like Rihanna had back in her “bobby” days.That was June 2009,and back then,my hair was completely au naturelle,all dark blondish and stuff. The summer passed and I started middle school. So it happens that my grandmother had this bright idea that my face was not clean  enough for high school.I don’t remember having anything to be worried about on my face as I never had any big skin problems to begin with.But she was persistent and booked an appointment with a cosmetitian.I DO NOT recommend anyone sane to do that to their child.It was painful,it was traumatic and completely useless. My skin was red and inflamed and I had to cut a pair of bangs to cover my forehead which had looked like I took a needle and played  pin the donkey’s tail.
